Privacy notice for the website forus-holding.ch, pursuant to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data we process

This website is an informational showcase. It contains no contact forms, restricted areas, newsletters, analytics tools, advertising trackers or embedded third-party content. Fonts are hosted on the site itself and generate no requests to external services.

When you visit the site, the hosting provider automatically records certain technical data in its server logs: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type and operating system, referring page. This data is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and detect malfunctions. We do not use it to identify or profile visitors.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 31 FADP).

Cookies

The site does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. For this reason no consent banner is displayed.

Contact by e-mail

If you write to us by e-mail, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, content of the message) solely to respond to your request. We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it and, where relevant, for the statutory retention periods.

Providers and transfers abroad

The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States), which delivers it through a network of servers in several countries. Technical log data may therefore also be processed outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, including in the United States, on the basis of the safeguards provided by law, such as standard contractual clauses. Logs are retained by the provider for a limited period.

The domain and e-mail mailboxes are managed by Hostpoint AG, Rapperswil-Jona (Switzerland).

We do not sell personal data or disclose it to third parties for their own purposes.

Links to external sites

The pages of the group companies and the photo credits contain links to external websites, which apply their own privacy notices. We are not responsible for data processing carried out on those sites.

Your rights

Within the limits of the applicable law, you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you may object to processing. To exercise your rights, write to amministrazione@forus-holding.ch.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the European Union the authority of your country of residence.
